Lord Shen - The White Phoenix - page 1

This is the start of a little fan comic for a story that just got stuck in my head. Takes place after the events of Kung Fu Panda 2. Will Lord Shen rise up like a phoenix from the ashes of defeat? I will be colouring page 2 tomorrow where you will get a closer look at that little peahen in the distance. She will become quite important to the story later along with her father.   Poor Shen will look funny for a while as he's had quite a few feathers pulled out and just been battered in general.

50 slices of virtual cake for anyone who can guess where he has ended up before I reveal it in a few pages time.

Please excuse my poor colouring and atrocious colour choice... I can't create backgrounds that go with cel shading so I have had to try my hand at soft shading. Also apologies for the writing... mypaint doesn't have a writing feature and GIMP is playing up on me... Oh, and this is read left to right, normal western comic style for those used to reading manga like me.
